Chapter Eight
Nate
I stood there between Red’s legs, my arms around him and his legs around me. I could feel his erection through his diaper and through my jeans. I wanted to reach down and rub against him, but our agreement stopped me in my tracks. Red trusted me to keep my word and I didn’t want to break it for a moment’s pleasure. Besides, I had the feeling he was in a little-little frame of mind. If I wanted to see him again, to play with him again, I needed to prove that I was a man of my word.
I slid my hand up and down his back, tracing every dip and curve I could feel. I know I’d told him that diapering him wouldn’t necessarily be a turn-on for me, but I hadn’t comprehended how intimate it would feel, how private.
After a few minutes, I wondered how long Red was planning to snuggle with me. Leaning back slightly, I looked down and studied his face. He looked… content. I waited a couple more minutes and it occurred to me that he could literally spend hours in my arms and not get tired.
Needing to give our play date a nudge in the right direction, I pulled back, ignored his pout, and reached for the shirt I’d chosen for him to wear. I wanted Red to hit that little-little space he’d talked about. I wanted to see him as the carefree, relaxed boy I’d only caught glimpses of.
When picking out his clothes, I’d gone by touch alone. Only the softest materials were good enough for my boy. Shaking it out, I grinned at the NASA logo on the front. My boy was a space cadet for sure.
“Arms up.” I laughed when Red gave me a withering glare and raised his right arm, his left going no further than his shoulder—his splint keeping his arm stabilized. “Sorry.”
I rolled up the shirt’s left sleeve and maneuvered it over his splint then helped him into the rest of the shirt. Just so I didn’t forget, I picked up his sling, looped it over his head, and carefully placed his arm back inside. As I reached for his shorts, Red scooted to the edge of the bed and kicked out his legs. Laughing as his eagerness, I bent over and helped him into his shorts. I pulled Red off the bed and pulled his shorts up the rest of the way.
“Socks!” Red said, picking up the ridiculous half-cat, half-taco socks he’d chosen. He hopped back up on the bed and stuck his feet out for me. Shaking my head, I propped one of his feet on my thigh and quickly pulled his sock on.
He laughed as he wiggled his toes, delighting in his choice.
I put on the second one and dropped his feet. “Are you ready for your surprise?”
His eyes locked on mine. “Surprise? Now!?”
Nodding, I gestured toward the living room with my head. “I left it by the door.” Annnnd… he was gone.
Rolling my eyes, I turned and followed him.
